CarteSoft, LLC, a subsidiary of Data Transfer Solutions (DTS), is a geospacial software development company that was founded in May, 2006 in response to pent up market demand for commercially available Geospacial Information Systems (GIS) software applications.
Although DTS has enjoyed tremendous success developing GIS applications for both public and private organizations, it quickly became clear that these applications had appeal beyond the organizations for whom they were developed.
Additionally, co-founder Randy Goss merged his company, Spatial Data Corporation (SDC) with CarteSoft. Much like DTS, SDC had developed many GIS applications for individual organizations.
CarteSoft was launched with a mandate to 'shrink wrap' many of the applications developed by DTS and SDC. It is CarteSoft's goal to develop applications based solely on customer needs and to address real world issues
