Public Involvement projects usually entail the development of a multi-faceted communication plan.
DTS has developed a variety of media for Public Involvement projects that include:
- Videos,
- Web-based surveys,
- Interactive websites,
- Public Hearing presentations,
- Classroom and computer-based training,
- Brochures and fliers.
We have developed high-end video for large-scale distribution campaigns such as the Navajo Roadway Inventory in Arizona and the Commuter Rail Initiative in Central Florida. We have helped gather information and feedback internally and externally. In addition, we have provided facilitators, trainers, technical support and audio-visual sound systems for public hearings and conferences.
DTS applies a unique approach to public involvement including innovative web-based surveys, document management systems, and GIS technologies to maximize the effectiveness of the public outreach process.
These solutions allow the public and agency staff to exchange information, access documents 24 hours a day/7 days a week, deploy unique on-line surveys, and summarize population distributions in order to identify optimal locations for workshops and to identify the most effective delivery of public materials (language, age, demographics).
