With the knowledge gained over many years in developing and implementing Geographic Information System (GIS) and systems integration solutions, DTS integrates GIS data with Community Outreach, Profiles, and Impact Assessments Applications to streamline the data collection process.

DTS staff help developed the Sociocultural Effects Evaluation (SCE) Training Workshop which teaches practicioners how to analyze and quantify the sociocultural impacts of transportation actions. This multimedia training course has been taught around the U.S. and received an award of excellence in 2006 from the American Planning Association and the Federal Highway Administration.
Examples of DTS staff experience includes the following products:

DTS experience in past successful Sociocultural Effects Evaluations (SCE), Community Impact Assessment (CIA) and Efficient Transportation Decision Making (ETDM) projects includes SCE Training Consultants for Central Office FDOT, CIA/ETDM consultants to District 1, District 2, and District 5 of the Florida Department of Transportation, Indian River County MPO, and Palm Beach County MPO.
